Stuart Gorman - Director at NuPace recieving Cyber Essentials Certificate.

This week, our team received news that our client, NuPace Limited, had passed their Cyber Essentials Basic Assessment. With the advice and guidance of the team at Prime Potential, we completed all the preparation work to give NuPace the best possible chance of passing the first time.

Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against a wide range of the most common cyber threats. By achieving this certification, NuPace has demonstrated that it has the essential technical controls in place to safeguard its systems, data, and clients from cyberattacks.

A Strategic Step Toward Digital Trust

In an era where cyber threats are increasingly sophisticated and pervasive, NuPace's certification sends a clear message to clients, partners, and stakeholders: cybersecurity is a top priority. The assessment, conducted by an accredited certification body, rigorously evaluated the company’s IT infrastructure, including firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection, and patch management.

Stuart Gorman, Director at NuPace, said: "Very pleased at the pace at which Prime Potential were able to get the fundamentals in place and ready us for assessment. Professional and prompt throughout the whole process. Looking forward to maintaining the standard we have now set"

Benefits Beyond Compliance

The certification not only enhances NuPace’s internal security posture but also opens doors to new business opportunities, particularly with government contracts and security-conscious clients who require certified partners.

By aligning with Cyber Essentials, NuPace is also contributing to a broader culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience across the UK’s digital economy.

“We’re proud to have got NuPace over the line with the Cyber Essentials certification and framework compliance. This is more than a badge—it’s a reflection of our proactive approach to protecting the digital environment of NuPace and ensuring the trust of those we work with. We can never be too careful with cybersecurity, with attacks and data breaches on the rise - we need to be vigilant. We also have to give our trusted Cyber Partner a big shoutout for this one too, Armstrong Watson is our trusted partner in delivering all things Cyber Security Solutions - thank you so much for the support, Rebecca” Jack Jones, Managing Director - Prime Potential
